Before you work with any magic, EVER, make sure that nobody will be hurt in the process. This includes undermining what is called "free will," should you choose to believe in such a thing. It also includes harming yourself. But you already knew that. Just be careful, okay? I don't want anything bad to happen to people because I was stupid enough to provide a spell that wasn't tight enough. Oh and, whatever you do to anyone else in a spell, get your ass prepared to be subject to receive much the same thing. Anyway.

To Awaken One to the Error of One's Ways
(acquired from another website and slightly revised)

This spell is in regards to the person's actions, not to beliefs, opinions, or any such triviality.

*Think no ill of ther person as you work this spell.
Those who are blinded by evil, cannot see it.*

Any time. Preferably outside.

Firmly visualize the person's face as you cant 3x:

"Winds in the North, run through the trees
Let him [her, it, them] see, let him see, three times three
Sands of the East, rich soils beneath
Set him free, set him free, three times three
Fires in the South, awaken from sleep
Let him see, let him see, three times three
Waters of the West, flow to the sea
Set him free, set him free, three times three"

Repeat the spell every other day until you have done it three times.
Direct invocation of the Elements seems particularly helpful with this spell.

We both know that there are about a million binding spells in books and websites. I don't like any of them. I wrote one of my own. I don't like that one, either. I don't like the idea of limiting a person's actions by any means. So I wrote something that, as far as I know, hasn't been done on any scale before. An un-binding spell. Not for the witch, but for a person the witch has personally bound. This is in no way a sign that binds are okay with me. But you wouldn't care anyway. Hell, even I don't care what my opinions are.

I've never bound anyone, so I've never had to use this; but if you do, it'd be awfully nice if you'd let me know if it works, and give suggestions for tweaks.

To Release a Bind

If you personally have cast a binding spell upon another, if it worked, if you feel absolutely certain that the binded one has experienced a change of heart for the better from within, if you feel the bind is no longer needed, if it hasn't worn itself away already, then after careful consideration this spell may be used.

One candle, white. Equal amounts of lavender and lemongrass. Small piece of white paper. Green marker/pen/crayon/colored pencil.

New Moon; dawn or twilight.

Cast circle widdershins, light candle. Write the person's name with the green marker on the paper; above the name write UNBIND. Burn the paper in the candle and collect the ashes; crush the lemongrass and lavender with mortar and pestle; mix ashes with herbs; all as you say:

In freedom born, in freedom live
In freedom take, in freedom give
In freedom come, in freedom go
In freedom, follow your own Flow
I said to bind, I said to stop
In freedom now I lift the lock
Do what you will by your own mind--
It will return threefold in kind
To goddess's [god's, universe's, natural, personal, etc] bind I now trust thee

It is finished. So mote it me."

Take the herb-and-ashes mixture to the top of a tall hill, mountain, or roof and scatter it to the four directions. Let it float away on the wind, and NEVER watch to see where it lands. The person should soon be as bindless as anyone else.
