Monday, Full or Waxing Moon, Moon hour, Nighttime.
Pale violet or blue candle; jasmine, lavender, or some other incense that's so soothing it could practically send you into a stasis; small white/light grey stone, smooth texture; the nicest and most soothing smell you have (that you won't get in trouble for posessing)
Even if you don't take special baths or showers before a spell, do it this time, with the most pleasant soap you have. Preferably in a darkened room so your senses aren't being assaulted. Then chill for as long as it takes, breathing in the best smell in the world until your neck/shoulders/lower back/concentration of tension is relaxed as if you're about to achieve Nirvana.
Hopefully you can see the Moon from Circle. Make Circle large enough to dance in. If you don't dance, leave enough room for your favorite way to raise energy. (As if you wouldn't anyway.) Light altar candles, make your tongue (thoughts) utterly still, draw down the Moon.
Visualization: Yourself as a buddha or Ghandi or Christ. A Hindu cow. The untouchable, the immune, the vast and unhurried. A footprint in the mud beside a riverbank. All you.
Charge candle with this image and intent. Program the stone (with its permission, of course) to be a calm little storehouse. Set it in front of the candle. Say 3x:
"Candle flame as bright as day,
Be a beacon, show the way,
Help lasting patience find a home
Within this small and peaceful stone
So when my temper's wearing thin,
Patience I will find therein."
If you're dancing, dance deosil, slowly first, then faster. (Yep, just like sex.) While moving, chant either metally or out loud 9x:
"Slow to anger, swift forgive.
In lasting patience I now live."
Chant it slowly. When done, release all your muscles and all the energy, including the energy of the candle. (See all the energy spark upwards into the wick and immediately burn away. This will also clear the candle's charge so you can use it again for something else. Which is good if you're as poor as I am.) Blow it out as you say:
"It is finished, three times three.
As I will, so shall it be."
Ground Moon energies and thank her--she's pretty! Draw in circle, blow out altar candles, ground again and center. Carry the stone with you at all times for 9 days, and then whenever you think you'll need an extra boost. Eat. Drink. Be merry.
New or Full Moon.
Name the stone to store emotion, leak-proof, and not to be affected by its contents. Carry it on your person for at least 24 (and no more than 48) hours. Whenever you feel the weight of depression, look at it and direct all sadness into the stone and out of yourself. Each time say:
"This is my pain, depression, despair.
I remove it from me and I put it in there."
At the time of the spell, go to a river, ocean, or other moving body of water. (A placid lake will not do.) Light the candle, and put all your sadness into the stone again and say the incantation again. This stone represents you, so what you do symbolically to the stone will also happen to you as a person. Smudge it 3x in the sage and say:
"I cense it with sage to trap it well.
The calm of the stone, its power to quell."
Draw a transformation rune
on the stone with the chalk and hold it in your powerpaw. Start envisioning yourself as light, free, independently happy.
"Rock of the Earth, dissolve sadness, I say.
Digest it, transform it, then throw it away.
Gods lend you the skill to turn bad into good,
harm none, and help many, as all of us should."
Beside the first rune now draw
which is for healing.
"Turn all my despair into something of worth
By returning good health to the Heart of the Earth."
Stand now with the stone in your powerpaw and hold it in the air, facing the water.
"When this stone hits the water, this day and this hour,
That is the start of the sending of power.
When it reaches the bottom, my magic intent
will break free, and then the power is sent."
Hold the stone tightly. Let your mind explode with the image, with your incredibly happy and emotionally free self, and then as you throw the stone as hard as you can into the water (make sure it lands in the water the first time!) throw the image with it, and say:
"Depression, be away from me!
As I will it, so shall it be."
The water represents the Sacred Cauldron into which all things must go for transformation. The stone is you, filled with negative emotion that is marked for transformation into healing energy. Rest in the womb of the Sacred. S'mores make an especially nice snack after this spell.
